California has the largest farming economy in the United States, but climate change is threatening to change that. Years of severe drought have left small farmers feeling the squeeze as they walk the tightrope between sustainability and financial viability.
Join the Harvests of Hope team at the Awareness Film Festival and hear from California farmers - in their own words - as they connect the dots between development, water rights and food justice. Will their farms be able to survive the impending climate crisis?
The Awareness Film Festival is organized by Heal One World, a non-profit charity serving the community surrounding West Pico blvd in Los Angeles, California. The Festival was founded to raise awareness of various causes that exist in our society today. Through independent filmmakers from across the globe, we are able to bring you critical messages that need to be heard while also providing entertainment.
Any net profits from this event will go completely to charity, including our partner organizations.
